Jennifer is an executive and organizational coach and has been working in the San Francisco tech community since 2015. Her clientele ranges from founders and executives, to managers and directors, to front- and back-end developers. Jennifer is based in Boulder, CO and specializes in early-stage tech startups and teams. She also offers remote coaching to professionals across the globe. Jennifer is a trained psychologist, earning her PhD in psychology in 2009 with an emphasis in cognitive behavioral neuroscience. Prior to beginning a coaching career in the tech startup community, Jennifer practiced public mental health in Colorado, Indiana, and Louisiana. Jennifer is a thought-leader and international speaker on the topic of "Mental Health in Tech," where she works to bring education and awareness to the tech community and reduce the stigma around mental illness. Jennifer works with her clients to establish a safe and inviting environment in which a deep practice of introspection can occur to further learning and development. Coaching is client-driven and achieving personal and professional outcomes is supported through a reflective, goal-oriented practice.
Lisa holds a Master’s in Psychology, with an emphasis on learning styles and human development. She has a second Master’s in Organization Development with a focus on addressing the people challenges associated with organization change. With a passion for learning and sharing knowledge, Lisa is known for her ability to articulate learning material with clarity and contextualization to foster participant insight. After spending four years as a management consultant working with the Fortune 500, she moved into the tech sector leading the People Team at Sequoia backed Keen IO. She has lived as a yoga instructor in Costa Rica, backpacked throughout India, and owned a pie company in Vermont.
